The TARDIS lands nearby, and the expedition is joined by the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria. My first Patrick T. episode, and I like it a lot. He’s great when he’s in close ups. Can’t wait to watch more of his. The lines on his face make him more expressive. He’s played a little weaker as far as Doctor’s go (much like the 5th Doctor) but he makes up for it with his stern looks and dialog.
The beginning of this episode was sampled on a
Dr. Who techno song too. That’s pretty cool.

Wow I love this doctor! I wish there was more of him. Man the lost episodes are depressing.

Great episode!!! Patrick is fantastic. Love how he plays up to Clieg’s ego.
Best line: “Now I know you’re mad. I just wanted to make sure.”

Poor Victoria. It seems like things haven’t changed much from Victorian times. They don’t really let her do much here. Although, her personal scene with the doctor near the end was a nice addition, and quite touching. It not only realistically developed Victoria’s sense of adjustment, but allowed some insight into the Doctor’s background as well.

It’s truly a blessing that this episode survived. I’m not a fan of the cybermen, but this is the best story revolving around them that I have come across so far. And Patrick Troughton is awesome! He as some of the best dialogue ever written for the Doctor, and has fast become one of my favorites

Good show. They could have at least buried the guy at the end though.
