The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 3 Episode 6: The Gift



The story begins with Sarah Jane and her friends chasing an overweight boy. After chasing him into a warehouse, it is revealed that he was a Slitheen woking with another family member in an attempt to use a matter compressor to squish Earth into a diamond and make themselves rich. After Sarah Jane’s Sonic Lipstick fails, she calls K-9 who tries to destroy it. Annoyed, the Slitheen grab Rani and hold her hostage, threatening to kill her if K-9 continues to destroy their work. Sarah Jane complies. Two brown Raxacoricofallapatorians appear and teleport the Slitheen back to their ship for trial. They then introduce themselves as the Blathereen, a separate, and according to them, law-abiding family of Raxacoricofallapatorians who were on a mission to track down and sentence all members of the Slitheen family.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 3 Episode 5: Mona Lisa’s Revenge



Luke enters Clyde’s painting for an art competition and Clyde wins first prize. The prize is a trip to see the first showing of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa in Britain for Clyde and his class but Sarah Jane Smith is unaware of this as she and Luke have argued over the untidiness of his room. While the class is at the International Gallery, something causes the Mona Lisa to come to life and step out of the painting, and replaces herself with somebody else. She also has the ability to make other people and objects from paintings come to life and able to put make real people become part of paintings, and does this with some gallery staff. Believing the painting to be stolen, the gallery calls the police, who arrive but who have not been there long before the Mona Lisa puts them too into paintings. She removes a Sontaran blaster gun that Clyde has unwisely painted from his winning picture and commands the gallery’s director, Mr Harding, to take her to find her ‘brother’. Seeing the coverage of the apparent theft of the painting on television, Sarah Jane Smith arrives at the gallery and argues with the Mona Lisa to let the painting people come back to life. Instead, she puts Sarah Jane into a painting.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 3 Episode 4: The Eternity Trap



Professor Rivers tells the story of a haunted Manor. She talks of a man named Lord Marchwood and how he employed Erasmus Darkening. Lord Marchwood thought that Erasmus could make gold out of base metals. His two children, Elizabeth and Joseph, spy on Erasmus. He spots them and makes them vanish for Eternity. Rivers is telling the story to Sarah Jane, Clyde and Rani and her assistant Toby. Luke is at home as their stand by in case anything goes wrong. Sarah Jane splits up from the group and finds a book on the history of the manor. She turns round from the book case which she is readimg from and unknown to her the books begin moving. Clyde and Rani go outside and find a shed. There is a fountain outside all of a sudden the fountain goes of and some wet foot prints appear in the direction of the shed the shed. They hear a young girl cry. It stops as Clyde pulls a sheet of a Mirror. All of a sudden a face appeares on the mirror. It is of a man. They run back into the manor and find Sarah Jane. Meanwhile in the control room the camera in the playroom cuts out. Rivers goes to investigate. All of a sudden the baby monitor starts to play. Then seconds later Professor Rivers vanishes. They all go to investigate and they find that all the toys have come alive. On the mirror in the room a message appears saying “Get Out”. Clyde and Rani begin exploring and find a secret passage way they go down and find Erasmus’ lab. Meanwhile Sarah Jane goes out and finds a balcony a creature in the bushes with red eyes appears it advances towards Sarah Jane. But Lord Marchwood’s ghost manifests and fights off the creature. Clyde and Rani find a computer, then when they turn around they see Erasmus Darkening.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 3 Episode 2: The Mad Woman in the Attic



The story opens with a “mad woman” in the attic, in the year 2059 in Ealing, where Sarah Jane and Luke are long gone and Mr Smith is no longer functional. A teenage boy, Adam (Gregg Sulkin), investigates the attic, and learns that the “mad woman” is Rani Chandra, who had fought aliens with Sarah Jane, Luke and Clyde. Rani has a flashback of 2009 in her childhood, aged 15, in Sarah Jane’s attic, at which time she overreacted when the group were not paying her much attention. Sarah Jane told her that a flash of lightning that struck the BT Tower was unimportant. Rani then received an email from an old friend, Sam, from her home town by the beach, whom she had told about her encounters with aliens.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 3 Episode 1: Prisoner of the Judoon



Sarah Jane Smith continues to live her life on Bannerman Road. Investigating a nanotechnology company, she is thrown out and goes back to her house, when suddenly, an alien space pod crashes into a building. Sarah Jane and the gang take a trip to the building, where Judoon Captain Tybo is shooting at an alien escaped prisoner, Androvax, a Veil, who soon possesses a little girl. Luke and Rani team up with the Judoon Captain, while Sarah Jane and Clyde meet the little girl. Sarah Jane becomes possessed and Clyde is put out of focus. Luke, Rani and Captain Tybo locate him and he is awakened.

The Sarah Jane Adventures From Raxacoricofallapatorius with Love



The gang are talking to Mr Smith when suddenly there is a breach in the attic. Mr Smith identifies the disturbance as a teleport and a diplomat named Rani (played by Ronnie Corbett) appears. He states that he represents the Galactic Alliance and gives them all gifts for defending the Earth so valiantly. He then pulls up a chair to talk to them and experiences apparent flatulence. Sarah Jane, Clyde, Rani and Luke all notice the similarity of the constant flatulence with that of a Slitheen wearing a skin suit, which Rani denies quite strongly. K-9 materialises and confirms Smith’s identification, but Rani states all dogs should be put on a lead and clamps K-9.


After further interrogation Rani immobilises Sarah Jane’s, Luke’s, Clyde’s and Rani’s feet using the gifts he had given them and reveals himself to be a Slitheen after all, unzipping his forehead to reveal a diminutive Raxacoricofallapatorian and stating his plan to steal Mr Smith, K-9 and the information they contain. Thinking swiftly, Sarah Jane manages to use her sonic lipstick to release their feet clamps and clamp Rani’s feet. Clyde then throws Rani’s bowler hat at a switch on Mr Smith, teleporting Rani away and releasing the clamp on K-9.



The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 2 Episode 5: The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith



A child, Oscar, from the 1950s walks into a time fissure and is transported to the current year. Unbeknown to Sarah Jane, who takes him back, he did it deliberately under the command of the Trickster. Having spotted a milestone, she later asks Mr Smith about the village she could see in the distance, discovering it was Foxgrove, the village where she was born. When Luke inquires about her odd behaviour, she shows him a photograph of her parents and tells him of how they abandoned her as a baby by the side of the road before being killed in a car accident, leaving her to be looked after by her aunt.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 2 Episode 4: The Mark of the Berserker



Luke Smith is going for a sleepover at Clyde Langer’s house whilst Sarah Jane goes away for the weekend. Clyde’s estranged father Paul turns up hoping to get to know his son. Jacob, the unpopular kid in school, is in possession of an alien pendant. Jacob discovers that he can use it to control other people. When he takes a teacher’s and other student’s voice in a detention, Jacob rushes to the bathroom to wash the handmark off. When he successfully does so, Rani knocks on the door and distracts him. Jacob leaves the room but hides outside. Rani enters the bathroom cautiously, and finds the time-watch. When she discovers, through instructing her dad, that it can control people, she takes it to Sarah Jane’s house for Mr Smith to investigate it. Sarah Jane, however, has disabled Mr Smith while she is away. Rani leaves the pendant hanging on a roof beam. Clyde tells his father about the adventures he has with Luke, “saving the world”. When his father does not believe him, Clyde takes him to visit Sarah Jane’s attic. While Clyde shows him some of the objects in the attic and tells him about Mr Smith, Paul pockets the pendant. When they leave the house, Rani’s father spots them and comes over to investigate. In possession of the alien pendant, Paul discovers that he can control people, after making Rani’s father a victim of the pendant for the second time that day. After Luke and Rani turn up, Paul instructs his son Clyde, over whom he now has control, to forget who they are and that he has ever seen them before. Clyde, as he must, accepts his father’s command.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 2 Episode 3: Secrets of the Stars



The scene opens up on a woman, Cheryl visiting an astrologer to see her future in the stars. The man is a con artist, deceiving his customers to get money out of them, to which he finally admits this to the woman who has been visiting him frequently. He walks to the window where a shooting star is heading exactly for his house, and he is possessed by an unknown being in front of the woman. Later, Luke, Clyde and Rani are visiting an exhibition with the astrologer, Martin Trueman, as the event is free. Rani’s Parents and Sarah Jane also show up and each person fills in a card with their birthday and star signs on it and hand it to Cheryl who is now working with the astrologer. Luke is slightly upset given that he does not have a star sign as he was never born, but activated.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Season 2 Episode 2: The Day of the Clown



Luke Smith (Tommy Knight) is struggling to adjust to life without Maria Jackson (Yasmin Paige), she having moved to Washington, D.C. with her father. Meanwhile, the Chandras move into the Jacksons’ old house on Bannerman Road and Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) starts an investigation into disappearing children in the area. Sarah Jane makes Luke and Clyde promise her that they will not reveal her alien investigating secrets to the newcomers to Bannerman Road.


Clyde Langer (Daniel Anthony) and Luke meet new girl Rani Chandra at school. After Clyde sees a clown in school prior to the sudden disappearance of one of his friends, Rani reveals she is being stalked by a clown that no one else can see. With Clyde having got into trouble with the new Headteacher, Rani’s father, Luke arranges to keep an eye on Rani in his place and goes round to her house to help her unpack. Sarah Jane and Clyde link the disappearances of the children to the Museum of the Circus, Clyde and two of the missing children having received tickets for it. Rani, who wants to become a journalist, begins her own investigation and makes the same connection to the Museum having found a ticket in a school book belonging to one of the missing children and having a ticket herself.


Sarah Jane and Clyde explore the Museum of the Circus and encounter Elijah Spellman (Bradley Walsh). Soon they are joined by Rani and Luke and Spellman sets his robotic clowns on the group. Sarah Jane halts the clowns, as shown in the picture, with her sonic lipstick and Luke theorises that Spellman is an alien. As Sarah Jane, Luke, Clyde and Rani attempt to escape the building, Spellman reveals himself to have been the legendary Pied Piper of Hamelin and now Odd Bob the Clown seeking to feed off their fear.


Sarah Jane and the rest escape through the back door. Then Sarah Jane tells Luke about why she’s scared of clowns saying that the clown mannequin in her room came to life when she was young. The next morning, Rani looks out of her bedroom window and sees Odd Bob’s balloon in her garden. When she gets to the school she tells Luke and Clyde, then a load of balloons fall down from the sky, all the school children pick them up (apart from Luke, Clyde and Rani) and fall under the spell from Odd Bob, behaving much like the Pied Piper story. But Clyde uses his phone to interfere with Odd Bob’s control and the children are released. Then Odd Bob suddenley kidnapps Luke and Sarah Jane must face her fears to save Luke. Then Clyde uses his funny jokes to make Odd Bob scared. He then gets trapped in a box where nothing can get out not even thoughts. In the end Clyde says how the universe is always full of surprises.
